Each hint for clues will be provided in the order most ideal to solve, however you may have solved these in a different order, make sure you have given all parts of the envelope a go before getting a hint on just one part, you may need to solve an alternate clue to lead onto the other.

If you have given all parts a go and it's time for some help please scroll on down, but wait! not too fast! If you want just a hint then scroll down only until you see the hint, if you keep scrolling it will then tell you how to solve the puzzle and then onto the answer of that puzzle, and then onto the next part of the envelope game of which will repeat the same system finally onto the envelope answer.

# ENVELOPE ONE HINTS

## Hint:

Unjumble the letters using the computer keyboard

## How To Solve:

Using a computer keyboard and the underlined words in the note, look at the key to the left of the letters in the scrambled message.

## Decoded:

Once translated this will say: THE CODE IS EIGHT SEVEN FOUR ZERO.

8740

# ENVELOPE TWO HINTS

## Hint:

The light bulb means to hold the clue up to the light. Your number will be revealed.

## How To Solve:

The lightbulb hints we must hold this note up to the light, when this is done you will see three letters are circled.

## Decoded:

O N E are circled.

## Hint:

The numbers on the shopping list highlight a letter in each line. Fill in the blanks.

## How To Solve:

The numbers in this list are very important and do not refer to the order, they instead highlight a letter in each item. When listed out, they spell a word.

## Hint:

Solve the sudoku to highlight an important number

## How To Solve:

Solve the sudoku to find Located on the back of sudoku clue the circled number. The easiest way is to just figure out the right most column and fill in the 3 missing numbers, ensuring they are not already present in that row.

## Hint:

A=T. Translate the codes using the new alphabet for your order and your fourth number

## How To Solve:

Locate all codes and translate using A = T. This means taking the alphabet and moving all letters along so A = T for example B would then equal U, C would equal V, D would equal W, E would equal X, F equals Y and G equals Z and so on. You  can write this in a line or more traditionally the clue is ciphered with a translation wheel, of which you can line up A with T which will line up the other letters for you as shown.

Back of Sudoku > AOPYK

On Shopping List > MPYZA

On How Can I Escape Card > MVBYAO

Back of Blood Card > UPUL PZ ZLJVUK

## Decoded:

Back of Sudoku > AOPYK = THIRD

On Shopping List > MPYZA = FIRST

On How Can I Escape Card > MVBYAO = FOURTH

Back of Blood Card > UPUL PZ ZLJVUK = NINE IS SECOND

• Shopping list answer is 3 and this is your first number

• Escape card answer is 1 and this is your fourth number

• Blood card translates to nine is second so 9 is your second letter

The Code is 3921

# ENVELOPE THREE HINTS

## Hint:

You need to figure out what each symbol represents to escape.

## How To Solve:

Starting with the knife we can find an evidence photo with the knife, there is an evidence number with this.

## Decoded:

Knife = 6

Continue below for solving the other symbols

## Hint:

The blood on the autopsy matches B+ on the chart. If AB-= 58 then A-is 5 and B-is 8. Hint

## How To Solve:

On the victims chart we can see the ‘shape’ of their blood type, looking at the blood type photograph from envelope 2, we can match the shape to B+. Then, using the logic of AB-= 58 and AB+ =25 (From the back of the shopping list clue).

B+ = 5

## Hint:

The autopsy has a spelling mistake that gives the number for the skull.

## How To Solve:

The victim chart mentions the victim had a skull tattoo, and there is then a spelling mistake where forearm is spelled fourarm.

## Decoded:

This means Skull = 4

Knife, Blood, Skull, Boot  = 6547

# ENVELOPE FOUR HINTS

## Hint:

Do you recall what the symbols are worth? Uncode the text to decipher what to do with these numbers. Look at that skull carefully!

## How To Solve:

We know Knife, Blood, Skull, Boot  = 6547, now we need to decode the letters using A = T again. this will give us instructions on what to do with the numbers. If we look closely we also see we only have half a skull so we need to divide that by 2 to start with.

## Decoded:

KPCPKL IF ADV = DIVIDE BY TWO

WSBZ MVBY = PLUS FOUR

APTLZ IF AOYLL = TIMES BY THREE

TPUBZ ZPE = MINUS SIX

This translate to the below:

• Knife divided by two: 6 / 2 = ?

• Blood plus four: 5 + 4 = ?

• Half skull times by three: 2 x 3 = ?

• Boot minus six: 7 - 6 = ?

• Knife divided by two: 6 / 2 = 3

• Blood plus four: 5 + 4 = 9

• Half skull times by three: 2 x 3 = 6

• Boot minus six: 7 - 6 = 1
